Families, children, and recreational bicyclists will love this leisurely bike ride through downtown Indianapolis exploring art, history, and more along the route. People of all ages, skills, and levels of ability are welcome to join us on this fun 5-mile community ride on Indianapolis trails.

• Explore Downtown: Take in scenic views of the city and experience the best of the Indianapolis trails with fellow cycling enthusiasts.

• Family-Friendly Fun: Enjoy the Bottleworks District after the ride, including the Kids Races at 1:00 PM.

• Secure Bike Parking: Complimentary, secure bicycle parking will be available throughout the event via Pedal & Park so you can stay and enjoy the festivities worry-free.

Ride Logistics & "Know Before You Go"

We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking and check-in!
 

• Check-In (9:00 AM – 9:30 AM): Get checked in and ready to roll!

• Routes & Maps: 5-mile trail-based route 

• What to Bring: * Bicycle & Helmet (Required)

  • Bike Lock (Optional - for Pedal & Park)

  • Water bottle, extra hydration, and/or energy bar

  • Sunscreen & Mobile phone

  • Identification and emergency contact info

Ride Rules & Etiquette

• Helmets: MANDATORY. No helmet, no ride. Safety is our top priority.

• Supervision: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

• Traffic Laws: This ride occurs on streets open to vehicular traffic. Participants must obey all traffic laws. If a signal is turning red, please stop and call out "stopping."

• Approved Equipment: All participants must be on bicycles. For safety reasons, no tricycles, runners, pedestrians, pets, or scooters please.

• Courtesy: Please be courteous to motorists and others. When passing, always call out "on your left" to alert pedestrians and other riders.
   

Make a Day of It: The Bottleworks Experience

• The Garage Food Hall: With 20+ vendors, grab lunch or a treat after your ride.

• Pins Mechanical: Take a break with duckpin bowling or classic arcade games.

• Stay for the Action: Stick around after the ride to watch the professional racers fly through the district!
