We are committed to providing our athletes a safe and fun experience and are confident you will love your visit to Indianapolis. Host Housing is open for elite, professional, CAT 1 and CAT 2 racers, and appropriate staff. Housing assignments are given on a first-come, first-served basis. If you and your team are in need of host housing, please reach out to us!
Host Housing is available for teams arriving on or after Thursday, July 10, 2025 and departing no later than Monday, July 14, 2025.
Host Housing FAQs
Will I be allowed in a host’s home while they are away?
Most likely but it is up to the host. Please be tidy and respectful of staying in your host's home.
Will they feed me?
No. Hosts often invite cyclists for a meal but it is not guaranteed. Your are expected to plan ahead and bring your own food and seasonings. You will have the use of the kitchen, some space in a refrigerator, stove, appliances and counter space. Please do not co-mingle your food with hosts food or leave appliances on or unattended.
Will I have a place to do laundry?
Yes, if your host has a washer and dryer you can use them with their permission. Please always ask to use their washer and dryer to make sure you don’t interfere with their schedule. Also, never co-mingle your laundry with your host’s laundry and always time your laundry so that you never leave it sitting in the washer or dryer.
Where will I shower?
Your host will have a shower for you to use. You may have a shower just for you or you may have to share it with the host family. If you are sharing with the host family, always ask if they need it first, and please be sure to clean up after each use.
Will hosts provide transportation?
No. It is your responsibility to provide your own transportation.
What else do hosts expect of me?
Hosts expect cyclists to respect their home and furnishings. If something gets damaged or broken, please tell them immediately.
Is it okay to leave a thank you gift for the hosts?
Absolutely! You may leave them a signed memento (jersey, poster, etc.) or any host/hostess gift you feel is appropriate. Lastly, always leave your host’s home in the same or better condition than when you arrived.
Okay, what do I do next?
Please complete the Housing Request Form no later than June 1, 2025. Requests will be fulfilled on a first come, first serve basis. Our Coordinator will begin the host/rider/team match as soon as possible. We request that you also Register to Race within 15 days of being paired with your host to ensure your housing. Riders/teams who fail to register will forfeit their housing placement.
