A New Chapter with Historic Roots

Momentum Indy represents the evolution of a 16-year tradition of racing in the heart of Indianapolis. While we are proud to call the Bottleworks District our new home, the spirit of our history is woven into the very fabric of the course:

• The Mass Ave Connection: Our new course continues to feature a fast, exhilarating stretch of Mass Ave. We’ve retained the spirit of the original Mass Ave Crit, including the technical turns that have made this race a favorite for 16 years.

• A Tribute to Indy Crit and Monument Circle: In a nod to our years on Monument Circle, our new start/finish line on Carrollton Avenue is lined with smooth brick pavers.

• Crossing the "Yard of Bricks": In the spirit of the legendary "Yard of Bricks" at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, our start/finish line honors Indy’s greatest racing traditions and connects our festival to the deep racing history of our city.

 

The Course: Fast, Flat, and Technical

We’ve designed a circuit that rewards the bold. Experience the roar of the peloton as it tears through the heart of the district on a stage built for speed.

• New Course Layout: A blistering, 6-corner technical circuit.

• Course Length: 0.78 mi / 1.26 km 

• Surface: Flat, fast city pavement through the North Mass Ave corridor.
   

What’s on the Line

• Weekend Cash Purse: $26,500 (Combined total for the weekend) (View Payout Schedule)

• Omnium Championship: The final points will be tallied here to award the MUMU Leaders Jerseys.

• Rider Safety: Full onsite medical support is provided for all categories.

Win a Zipp Wheelset: $5,000 in Giveaways

This year, registration comes with a major perk. We are awarding two Zipp Wheelsets (valued at $2,500 each) to our participants.

• Early Bird Giveaway: Register for any amateur race or the Fondo by June 30 to be automatically entered. We'll announce the winner on July 1—no action required!

• "Golden Ticket" Finale: All registered amateur racers are entered into our live drawing.

  • When: Saturday, July 11 at 6:15 PM.

  • Where: Live at the Start/Finish Line.

  • Rules: YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. If your name is called and you aren't there, we draw again!
     

Eligibility: Professional category riders and employees of Zipp/SRAM are not eligible for wheelset drawings.
